The Broker-in-Charge Annual Review Course must be taken by every Broker-in-Charge or those who want to remain BIC Eligible. It is the "REQUIRED ELECTIVE" every year for the Broker-in-Charge. In order to receive elective credit for the BICAR elective, one must be BIC Eligible. To find out if you are BIC Eligible go to the North Carolina Real Estate Commission website and login under BIC Only. If you are BIC Eligible, you will have the option of "Print BIC Eligible Document". If you do not see this choice, you are NOT BIC Eligible. The BICAR elective course is written by the NCREC. Like the Update course, the specific content of the BIC Annual Review Course will differ from year to year. This requirement means that a BIC does not have a CE elective option after the first renewal of his or her license following BIC designation! The BIC 8 hours of continuing education is always: Mandatory Update and Broker-in-Charge Annual Review. However the BIC can take more than 8 hours of continuing education.
Cathy Greer teaches this course. Cathy is a broker-in-charge herself, has completed the 12 hour broker-in-charge course and educational seminar by the NCREC. Cathy's hands on knowledge and education, combined with her sense of humor will make this a very informative and interesting class. Sign up today for the BICAR course.
